Is good news to all of us especially for those who balik kampung during Raya time. YES our petrol price decrease from RM2.55 to RM2.45. The new petrol price will effective on 12am 25th Sept 2008.

SILVER medalist in Olympic Games

LEE CHONG WEI has won a silver in Beijin 2008 Olympic games. Although he can't get a gold medal in these Olympic games, but he already try his best to reach the final in badminton competition.

Malaysia waiting for 12 years to get a medal in the Olympic games and finally LEE CHONG WEI have get a medal for Malaysia after year 1996 Olympic games. In year 1996, badminton teams have won 1 silver in man double and 1 bronze in man single.

Congratulation to LEE CHONG WEI, and hope he can get a gold medal in next Olympic games.

DropDownList Automcomplete

Many programmer do have a problem that how to do a autocomplete dropdownlist in their application. I'm here not to show how to make a autocomplete dropdownlist, but just share some information with you guys.

Let me briefly explain what is autocomplete dropdownlist mean. As mention autocomplete, which is you can press any character and the dropdownlist will auto filtering and selected the character you have just key in. Without a autocomplete dropdownlist, you can only reach to the 1st character of the dropdownlist.

Well, is it necessary to create a autocompelte dropdownlist? The answer might be yes and no. Why? In Firefox2 , Firefox3 , IE7 have already built in the autocompelte function which you do not need to program it in your application. If you target user using IE6 and below, then you must need to program it in your application. Most common use in autocomplete dropdownlist would be added a javascript function into your dropdownlist.

You can easily get the autocomplete dropdownlist tutorial when you google for it. Autocomplete is useful and important to a user when the dropdownlist have a long list of item.

Messenger on Win xp SP3

If you install Windows XP and upgraded to SP3 before installing Windows Live product, you might not able to install Windows Live messenger.

To solve the problem, you have 2 way to do so.

1 - Install Windows Live Messenger before upgrade to SP3.

2 - If you have already install SP3, dont worry just download and install previous Windows Live Messenger version (Version 8.1 and below). After that, messenger will prompt you a message to update your messenger to latest version.
